Technology Rules:

- Be a DIGITAL CITIZEN: refer back to the digital citizenship tab.

-Bring your device to school charged. 

-Only use your device when teachers give you permission. When your device is not being utilized it will remain closed or turned off on top of your desk unless stated otherwise by your teacher.

-When using Chromebooks or computers issued by the school system please do not change the settings or share your device with anyone else. 

-Do not download anything unless your teacher has given you permission.

- Only visit approved sites. If you access something inappropriate please tell a teacher immediately. 

-DO NOT give out any personal information. This is for the safety of you and other students.

-Be respectful when using your device. Do not eat or drink when using your device and be gentle when pressing keys or using the mouse. 

-Get permission from your teacher before printing. 

- When using a cell phone remain on task or the teacher will take your device from you until the class is over. 

-Do not browse the internet when the teacher is talking or when you are supposed to be working on an assignment. 

-Each student will be asked to sign a photo release. Teachers will need to give students permission before pictures are taken. No cameras are allowed in bathrooms or locker rooms. No exceptions! If cell phones are used to take pictures in either place they will become the school's property until officials rule that no inappropriate pictures were taken.
